Robotics is a year long general elective course that teaches students about the design engineering process, and affords students the opportunity to compete in VEX Robotics competitions.   Teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge. Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test as students develop lifelong skills in collaboration, task commitment, leadership, communication, and more. Qualifying teams will advance to the state and national levels with the culminating tournament at the VEX Robotics World Championship which is held each April.

Students need to be enrolled in the Robotics elective to participate in competitive robotics.
